This story is dual POV, well written, and an interesting, steamy, recovering from abduction and trafficking, marriage of convenience, sci fi romance between Gemma, the female human lead, and Zalis, the male alien lead who was one of her rescuers. I enjoyed Gemma’s determination to stay near her twin (whose romance is told in the story Ren), and the efforts she made to ensure it happened. I enjoyed the contrast of Zalis’ physical presence and his gentle, compassionate personality.
