About this ebook

In the late 23rd century, the Sun begins to die centuries ahead of schedule, plunging Earth into chaos. As the planet freezes under a failing star, Commander Rhea Quinn is chosen to lead the Odyssey — a massive generation ship carrying 50,000 survivors on humanity’s final voyage into the stars.

But beyond the edge of the solar system, the crew intercepts a mysterious signal — human voices whispering a warning from deep space:

“Do not follow the light.”

When the Odyssey discovers a derelict twin ship identical to their own, drifting for millennia despite launching only decades before, Rhea realizes they are caught in something far greater than a mission of survival. Time itself has become their enemy.

Guided by the ship’s sentient AI, LYRA, Rhea uncovers the terrifying truth: the signal came from humanity’s own descendants, beings who exist beyond time — The Continuum. They warn of a cycle that has doomed humanity for eons… and Rhea must decide whether to save her people or end the loop forever.

In a breathtaking journey across space and time, Afterlight explores what it means to be human when survival is no longer enough — and the courage it takes to let go of the past to ensure the future.
