Novel Suspects

When ruthless developer Gideon Poke arrives in Soggybottom Hollow with plans to demolish much of beloved Milliner’s Lane, he quickly discovers that the locals have very strong opinions about progress.

Then Gideon drops dead in the middle of a packed public meeting.

Suddenly, the village has more suspects than umbrellas.

Harriet Hedgerow has no intention of becoming involved in another murder investigation, but unanswered questions have a way of finding her. The deeper she looks, the more secrets begin to surface, and someone in Soggybottom Hollow has a great deal to lose if the truth comes out.

Meanwhile, Lord Alistair Thorne continues to occupy rather more of Harriet’s thoughts than she would care to admit.

In Soggybottom Hollow, secrets rarely stay buried for long, but this killer intends to make sure one of them does.
