Lisa Doyle is Absolutely Fine: A laugh-out-loud British romantic comedy about one very fake fiancé
About this ebook
Blame the four glasses of wine. Blame her best friend getting engaged while Lisa remains very much not. Either way, the fiancé now exists, he sounds lovely, and she’s accidentally given him the same name as her very married boss.
Not a problem. Lisa is fine. Absolutely fine.
All she needs is an actual Brian before her best friend's wedding. Her flatmate Andy, a gay actor with strong opinions and no current bookings, thinks the lie is the best material he's had in years. And Brian, the real one, has started looking at her across the office in a way that suggests this has got seriously out of hand.
A sharp, warm, Manchester-set romantic comedy about faking it in front of the people who love you most. Perfect for readers of Mhairi McFarlane, Beth O'Leary and Marian Keyes.
