About the author
Mitchell Kaplan holds a Master's in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island. He has worked in such movies as the Polka King starring Jack Black and Vanessa Bare (from Saturday Night Live), and the Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench (produced by Damien Chazelle who also did - Whip Lash and La La Land). Mitch was also on the PBS television show Arthur with guests Yo-Yo Ma and Joshua Redman. He has also written several books and articles which all have been published. He has performed at the Newport Jazz Festival and the Kool Jazz Festival. Mitch has taught piano in the Boston area to pre-k to 8th graders in 6 different schools.
