I really was not expecting a porn book. I was hoping for more of a story line. This book is dark fantasy (sex) for sure. I am not sure romantic. I don't know what to feel. I was going to stop reading it then around chapter 15 I was glad someone died. As much as it made me cringe I couldn't stop reading it. I also paid money for it that could also add to that. I say read the warnings they add but I did not because it said it is spoilers. not sure If I want to read the second one (child warnings on it) (could cause triggers) I paid for both at the same time 🙄 I guess I am used to more story than porn. I have not read stuff like this since the Merry Gentry novels by Laurel K Hamilton so if you like this book head that way.

The spicy spice in this book had me SWEATING. #chapter32 Vampires, Werewolves, Witches. M/F Make sure you control your face if you brave reading this around other people. I failed, and my son asked me if I was okay. Trigger Warnings & Kinks: somnophilia, knife/blood play, sharing (not reverse harem), breeding, praise, p-spot.

Miranda Grant pulls all the plugs and offers a no-holds-barred, undiluted, front row seat into the minds of her characters that is, oddly enough for supernatural erotica, refreshingly honest. Her use of first-person POV throughout offers a unique perspective that I've found many authors don’t wield nearly as well. The story makes readers just a little uncomfortable in their own skin but keeps you hooked because you're rooting for HER the whole time! Miranda knows what we like, admit it or not.
