Iron Ambition: My Life with Cus D'Amato

The book mainly focuses on Cus D'Amato's life before Tyson. There are some Tyson life tid bits and Cus was a great man in his own right so it's not a bad read. I went into it thinking it would focus on Tyson's early training years. It's mostly before Tyson was in the picture.

I loved mike tyson undisputed truth autobiography So when I saw that he had a biography of his amateur days I was ecstatic. As a fellow amateur boxer born and raise in New York I'm only up to chapter 7 And I'm loving every chapter. From mike tyson troubles competing in amateur bouts due to his massive structural body at 13 To cus D'amato ferocious battle against the most crooked and corrupt boxing organization know to men The IBC Not only the tales in the book are interesting but educational in the ways of training your mind. Cus D'amato was certainly a different human being entirely I would had loved and unfortunately can only imagine being trained by such a incredible and gorgeous trainer such as Cus D'amato. He shall always be remembered and live on forever in boxing fans around the world for his accomplishment and most of all his generosity to young kids growing up in the worst conditions possible.
