Midori, dubbed “the super nova of kink” by Dan Savage, Midori is a globe-trotting sexuality educator and writer. Her classes are humanistic, funny and warm, revving up sex lives, and encouraging self discovery and personal growth and include her trademarked Rope Dojo and Forte Femme women’s intensive weekend workshops. She is originally from Japan, but now is based in San Francisco, and is the author of several books. In her nonfiction portfolio are the how-to volumes The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage, Wild Side Sex, and the Toybag Guide to Foot & Shoe Worship, and on the fiction side she created a sexy, cyberpunk future with the short story collection Master Han’s Daughter, which was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award. When not writing or teaching, she is deeply involved with HIV/AIDS fundraising and develops interactive museum art installations.
