The present volume is part of a
broader project which aims at exploring new and stimulating methodologies in
the study of specialised discourse. Viaggio intersemiotico nel linguaggio della
scienza - Prospettive e teorie thus
offers an introduction to the notions of specialised language and intersemiotic
translation, which will become useful during the analyses of television series
and films centred on one or more specialised languages, which will be carried
out in the following books of the series.
