Derrick Ward is a UAS pioneer and nationally recognized public-safety aviation expert whose career is defined by a lifelong dedication to emergency response and aviation safety. He is a 25+ year veteran of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), where his extensive experience in high-stakes field operations provided the foundation for his transition into unmanned aerial systems.
