This is a wonderful collection of wisdom in one very small book. But the wisdom it contains far exceeds the physical size of the book. Excerpts are from the writings of the great Kabbalists such: as Rav. Yehuda Aslag, Rav Chaim Vital and Rabbi Moshe chaim Luzato, among others. Gems of Wisdom is separated into topics beginning with my favorite: The Purpose of Creation, leading through The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah, who can study, The Nature of Man to the amazing Reason for all Suffering. The first chapter is the anchor for the following topics. If we understand the reason for Creation then all else falls into place in our study. Gems of Wisdom is small enough to fit in your pocket or purse and take with you where ever you go, spending a moment or an hour absorbing the wisdom contained in each topic sentence by sentence or chapter by chapter.
