Wild for the King
About this ebook
Akeisha will do anything to save her people—even offer herself to the desert king blamed for hunting them toward extinction. As a rare, shape-shifting silver panther, she hides her true nature; discovery would mean death. Disguised as human, she joins the women gathered in the palace, waiting to be selected for the king’s harem.
From his dais, the king surveys them like jewels waiting to be claimed. When his gaze locks on Akeisha—and he chooses only her—she knows her plan is working. But his touch awakens a hunger that burns hotter than the desert sun, threatening to reveal not only what she is, but how deeply she’s beginning to feel.
Because the king isn’t the monster she was prepared to face. The true enemy may be the feelings she can no longer control, a desire powerful enough to strip her of her people, her freedom...or her life.

About the author
Award-winning author Mel Teshco writes the kind of scorching hot contemporary and science fiction romance she loves to devour herself—stories where passion collides with adventure and hearts are won against impossible odds.
When she's not crafting her next steamy page-turner, you'll find her gazing out her office window at fourteen acres of Australian paradise, complete with breathtaking mountain views that inspire her most romantic scenes. Her writing companions include six rescue cats (former foster babies who decided to stay), one loyal dog, and a spoiled horse—though they all compete for attention with her three daughters and two grandchildren who keep life delightfully chaotic.
Her patient husband is still waiting for retirement, but Mel's too busy falling in love with new characters to slow down anytime soon.
