About the author

Matt Hotson always wanted to write comics but took a little detour along the way to work as an assistant director on TV shows and movies like DC’s Titans, Murderbot, and Tammy’s Always Dying. His first comic book project, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return, was published in 2024 from BOOM! Studios. He lives in Toronto, Canada, with zero dogs, zero cats, and that one pesky spider up on the living room ceiling.

V Ken Marion is an illustrator, concept artist, and storyteller who has been working in the comic book industry for over a decade for premier publishers such as DC Comics, Aspen MLT, and Image Comics, as well as serving as the lead artist on Dream Key Studios’ Deathshroud. Marion also illustrated and co-wrote his creator-owned comic, Battle Chronicle Sol-Stryker. Marion’s dynamic art style has graced the pages of Green Lantern: Fractured Spectrum, Trinity, Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps, The Silencer, Wonder Woman, Aquaman: Deep Dives, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, New Challengers, Green Lanterns, Fathom, Soulfire, Jirni, and Vanish. Marion is thrilled to join the ranks of Oni Press and The Nacelle Company in crafting a new, modern take on the Power Lords franchise with his kinetic artwork. When he is not hard at work producing comic books, Marion loves to go to pop punk concerts and explore New York City, where he lives with his wife, Laura, and their two cats.
