Wells really phones this one in. The novella format only works when each entry nails it. Here we are paying for what should have been filler in a full length novel. All the interesting action happens somewhere else, to someone else. Character development is non existent for new central characters to existing characters families. I have been buying these day one since discovering All Systems Red and I think that ends now.

$13 for 140 pages is a rip-off. especially since this is just a derivative Mashup of the exact same jokes and scenarios in every other book in this overrated series.

My initial impression is that I wish it had been longer, or that we'd had some extra time with the newly liberated SecUnits. I appreciated the riff on Niven's Ringworld and the time we got with workers off the job but under corporate dystopia
