Geek Chic: The Zoey Zone

"Tweens will celebrate the arrival of an intrepid heroine with plenty of sparkle and spunk to spare." — Kirkus Reviews

Meet Zoey. She's eleven. Well, almost eleven. Okay— halfway to eleven. And Zoeey's got a few problems: She has the lowest possible score on the coolability meter, a bad hair situation, and growing earlobes. What Zooey needs is a fairy godmother who can give her a very chic makeover and a seat at the primo lunch table. Will Zooey be able to pull it all off? Tune in!

"[Zoey's] brisk, hilarious commentary and confessions will draw tweens into the contemporary Cinderella story." — Booklist

"The format will attract reluctant readers, and the story will please girls who cultivate offbeat interests with as much enthusiasm and zaniness as Zoey." — School Library Journal
