Unlike most books written on robotics, this takes an intelligent and unbiased look into the proffessional world of robots. For example, some books written by non-robotics people, show Sony's $3,000 AIBO robot as being a "toy", when that's obviously not the case, as it was built for adult companionship. This book, thankfully, didn't call it a toy, but instead had interesting facts about it (near the last page!)
