Convicted terrorist supporters Tariq and Syed are released from prison - and face the reality of life in London under the constant surveillance of the security services.
Tariq and Syed hatch a plan to travel to Syria - to join The Islamic State, and work to avoid MI5. Magpie is the story of the friendship between Tariq and Syed - and the consequence of choices.
Magpie is an intense, raw, and dark story - that tackles subjects such as racism, fanaticism, religion, violence, and duty, and that asks the question - what is right and what is wrong?
