Having been the father of great Indian Green Revolution in the early sixties, Dr.M.SS with his indeath knowledge and vast experience has brought out ways and means of a sustainable agriculture for a permanent food security for the mankind on planrt earth. His own experiences in advocating short term varieties of paddy and wheat crops under chemically intensive cultivation pratices has later on proved to be detrimental to the age-old culture in cultivation practices of organic agriculture with self sustenance of soil's natural agronomical conditions . Therefore, I strongly beleive so, our fatherly figure in him has empathetically come out with all remedies and solutions , for fully sustaianble agriculture so as to adopt corrective steps for culminating the mistakes of erstwhile chemical intensive green revolution agriculture about which he very cautiously warned terming it as 'greed revolution.' . Worth not only reading and but also adopting in actual practice by not only modern day agriculturist,farmers, and students but also by all levels of policy makers of all agriculturally dominant countries across the globe.
