About this ebook

He’ll do anything to free her…and make her his.

Abe

I joined the Midnight Hven as a favor to my friend.

My pack needs me, and that’s how I find myself sneaking through the woods in the middle of the night.

That’s when I see them take her.

I know two things in that moment.

The first is that I will do whatever I can to rescue the kidnapped girl.

The second is that I just found my fated mate.

Roxie

I was headed to meet my best friend when they took me.

Now I’m trapped in this old house, wondering if anyone will ever find me.

I know that I need to try to escape and make a run for it, but before I can, he shows up.

Abe Williams.

He saves me from that house and from those bad men.

Then he takes me home and tells me that he’s not letting me go.

He says that we’re meant to be together, that we’re fated mates.

Now I’m wondering if I’ve traded in one cage for another.

Abe and Roxie’s story has them coming together when he sees her being kidnapped and rescues her. He knows she’s his fated but she’s human and doesn’t know he’s a wolf shifter. But the cult drama is still there keeping you ready for the next book. Short drama packed, danger filled, chemistry filled, paranormal story. This is the second book in ther series; and even though it can be read by itself, it's best to read in order. There are situations that overlap, but are discussed quickly so you know what happened in the previous book. Enjoyable quick read about shifters with the heat and steam that is expected. Roxie is kidnapped, Abe saves her. In the epilogues, the cult is dissolved, but we'll need the rest of the series to know how that came about. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout
