The Case of David Zimmerman
About this ebook
In Paris, David Zimmerman, a photographer in his thirties, seems perpetually adrift in life, consigned to a career photographing weddings and bar mitzvahs. On New Year's Eve, he's taken to a huge party by his only friend, Harry; in the middle of the crowd, his gaze falls upon an enigmatic young woman whose summons he can't help but follow. In the dead of night, David wakes up ... in the body of the woman he met earlier.
Featuring bold and dramatic illustrations, The Case of David Zimmerman is a thrilling mystery that weaves themes of sex, identity, loneliness, and body dysmorphia.
The Unknown, a feature film adaptation of The Case of David Zimmerman, directed by Arthur Harari and starring Niels Schneider and Léa Seydoux, is being released worldwide in 2026.
