About this ebook
Jack Tarrant never thought he’d inherit a steward—what the heck even is that?—but when his Uncle Warwick died, that’s exactly what happened. Nine months later, his life has never run smoother. Maybe it’s time to visit the estate and agistment his uncle left him and finally meet Sebastian.
Seb Walker only ever wanted to work with horses, and running the stables he learned to ride in was—is—a dream come true. But now his mentor is gone and Jack’s the new owner… and for some reason, he thinks Seb’s an old man.
Once that confusing hurdle is behind them, Jack and Seb bond over a love of horses and their grief for Warwick. What starts as a tentative friendship deepens into more, leaving them to deal with that sticky question: Is it okay for a boss and employee to hook up? And if they do, where can things go from there?
