About this ebook
Two fun-loving mice in search of adventure stow away on a cruise ship in this super simple rhymed Beginner Book from the author and illustrator of Two Chilly Mice—perfect for reading on (or dreaming about) vacation!
Life is good in paradise. The only thing that’s cold? The ice!
It's ALWAYS sunny. NEVER chilly. Just one thing—
We're both BORED SILLY!
Life on a tropical island is great, but there's only so much sunshine and relaxation two adventure-loving mice can take! They long to do something NEW, and when a cruise ship docks at their island port, the mice stow aboard in a case of coconuts and set sail on a voyage around the world—where there's NO shortage of new things to do and see!
Beginner Books are fun, funny, and easy to read! Launched by Dr. Seuss in 1957 with the publication of The Cat in the Hat, this beloved early reader series motivates children to read on their own by using simple words with illustrations that give clues to their meaning. Featuring a combination of kid appeal, supportive vocabulary, and bright, cheerful art, Beginner Books will encourage a love of reading in beginning readers.

About the author
Lori Haskins Houran has seen a lot of the world, though not by coconut. Like the two silly mice, she has enjoyed street art in Paris, gone on safari in Africa, taken a ride on the London Eye, and eaten way too much pasta in Italy. When Lori's not traveling, you can find her on the North Shore of Massachusetts, where she lives with her family. Lori is the author of more than sixty books for kids.
Steph Laberis is a character designer for animation and kidlit illustrator, based in Northern California. Her artwork reflects her love for animals and there's usually a chance to spot a cameo from one of her pet cats, rats, or dogs in her books! When she's not drawing, she enjoys tabletop gaming, glass working, and doting on the squirrels in her backyard—who seem to have adopted her.
