About this ebook

Some truths are too dangerous to ignore.

City councilor Terrance Mack thought he understood the cost of integrity—until a quiet Friday morning erupts with a threat from a stranger in his office. The message is clear: fall in line or face the consequences.

Known for standing against corporate greed and corruption, Terrance has made powerful enemies. When his car’s brakes fail, a man is gunned down beside him, and he barely survives a poisoning, it becomes clear—this isn’t politics as usual. This is war.

With his pregnant wife and two sons at risk, Terrance finds himself navigating a ruthless game of power, secrets, and betrayal. In a city where trust is deadly and silence is currency, every decision could be his last.

As shadowy figures manipulate the system and allies turn into threats, Terrance must decide: will he protect his family by stepping aside—or fight a machine built to crush men like him?

Perfect for fans of political thrillers with heart-pounding stakes, complex villains, and heroes who refuse to break. If you loved House of Cards, Jack Ryan, or The Pelican Brief, you won’t want to miss this explosive second installment in The Street Fighter Series.

Finding Home although a work of fiction describes the reality of daily life for many thousands of people around the world. There is a lot of prejudice in relation to homeless persons, they are mostly "unseen" by society and usually desired to be hidden by some authorities. This story gives the main character a happy ending but that's the exception and not the rule, especially when you think about developing and poor countries where living conditions are worsening at an alarming pace. I believe Lorhainne is doing a great job with this story (and in so many others) as she calls for attention to the homeless issue in any country. Even if it talks about a difficult societal issue, this story is easy to read and entertaining. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Terrance and his family found themselves homeless, jobless and out on the street. With the help of Misty and her friend, Terrance and his family’s life changed for good, but was it at a price that he wouldn’t pay? Interesting story of how a family man stood up for what was right after losing everything. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
