I really wanted to love the book but I just couldn't. first the heroine is a crybaby who blames the hero for everything that went wrong in her life. the worst part is that she kept his child away from him(sorry for the spoiler). and she has no decency to apologize for it. I found her to be a terrible human being who shifted blame to everyone but herself. it's sad because I really loves Vic and he deserves better than this woman. I also feel that the book was rushed. there was not enough interaction between father and son. I have no idea why the author decided to bring in the newly discovered sister. it was a part of story that went nowhere

I completed and find a cliff hanger! Story is all over the place-out of order. Vic said "I can't control you - I'm scared" at least 20 times!! Usually enjoy her books, but this one should have been proofread a bit more.

I can't order you ,I'm just trying to keep you safe. This sentence was repeated so ma y times I just gave up reading the book,so annoying.
