This book is a great piece of sci-fi. Not being familiar with the author I wasn't sure what to expect, but the story and characters are great, the plot is surprisingly creative and well thought out, and the second half of the book starts putting the pieces together and leads up to an unexpected and satisfying conclusion. I'm very happy I gave it a shot and will definitely seek out more works by this author.
