About this ebook

A “laugh-out-loud hilarious” (Teenreads) contemporary young adult romance that explores friendship, love, and personal identity.

“Fast and funny.”—VOYA

Frannie Falconer is desperate to get the attention of her crush, Jeffrey, but too shy to make a move. When her gay best friend, Marcus, suggests a clever plan to get closer to Jeffrey by chatting online, Frannie is hesitant. So, Marcus takes over at the keyboard and soon his plan is a success! But the more he chats, the more it seems Jeffrey is falling for Marcus, not Frannie. What ensues is a heartfelt exploration of friendship, love, and personal identity.

Whose romance is this, anyway?

I'm not sure what I expected but this book didn't meet whatever those expectations were. If you you're looking for a simplistic, uninteresting read, go for it. The chapters narrated by Marcus are MUCH more interesting than those narrated by Franny (if Chris wrote the entire book I probably would have enjoyed it more).
