About this ebook
I give you… Forgotten Fate…
When it comes down to the crunch, I’m your man, Fergus O’Connor. The one who wouldn't hesitate to fight to the death to protect those I care for. The first one to reach deep into my pockets for the needy and the one you can always depend on, no matter what.
Except, I have one caveat. I don’t do love.
Oh, don’t get me wrong. I shag… a lot, and believe me, I thrive on variety—How else, I have the Love-Midas touch. Every woman swoon at my first kiss and turns into my willing concubine without any incentive from me… You know what I mean, right?
But a vice such as that comes with a hefty price. Like the Midas of old with all his gold, the myriads of bed partners don’t bring me any happiness. I have no choice but to succumb to the prophecy of my Gaelic forefathers or face my forgotten fate.
Is Shiane Silver the woman to lead me to a path of happiness and fulfillment, or is she the modern day druid’s lackey in disguise to see me fail so that I will be chained to an eternal mystical castle, and lose everything I worked so hard for my entire life?
Note: Although the blurb is in first person, the book is written in third person.

About the author
Passion isn't just a word—it's a force of nature. Just ask Linzi Basset, who lives life with passion.
"Isn't it a universal truth that it's our singular experiences and passion, for whatever thing or things, which molds us all into the individuals we become? Whether it's hidden in the depths of our soul or exposed for all to see?"
This South African powerhouse burst onto the literary scene in 2015 with Club Alpha Cove, a BDSM club suspense series that shot straight to Amazon's International Bestseller list. But don't try to put her in a box. Linzi refuses to be confined to any single genre, choosing instead to let her stories roam as wild and free as the spirit that drives them.
With over 140 published works—including those under her alter egos Sabel Simmons, Kimila Taylor, and Shiloh Dean—she's more than prolific; she's unstoppable. When she's not advocating for animal rights or crafting poetry, she's weaving tales that blur the lines between romance, suspense, and raw human emotion.
"I write from the inside out. My stories are both inside me and a part of me so it can be either pleasurable to release them or painful to carve them out. I live every moment of every story I write. So, if you're looking for spicy and suspenseful, I'm your girl... woman... writer... you know what I mean!"
Every touch, every kiss, every harsh word in her stories pulses with authenticity because Linzi doesn't just write her stories—she lives them. Her works are more than mere books; they're passionate adventures that explore the full spectrum of human emotion: from the heights of desire to the depths of betrayal, from searing hatred to unconditional love.
Her message is clear: "Believe in the passions driving your desires; live them; enjoy them; and allow them to bring you happiness."
Ready to dive into a world where passion rules supreme? Linzi Basset's books are waiting for you.
