In an alternate early 20th century, the battlefield is ruled by the leviathan: giant, flying battleships carrying enough armor and guns to destroy anything it may encounter…including another leviathan. New alliances have been drawn, and now the entire continent of Europe risks being engulfed in a devastating war.
Reign of Iron collects eight thrilling tales of combat and adventure aboard these soaring ships. From William H. Keith’s tale of leviathans pressed into service not only to battle in the skies over France, but to swiftly move soldiers into the battlefield. Michael T. Richie brings us a tale of a leviathan engineer pressed into service on a top-secret mission to steal a leviathan, but whom among the cutthroat crew can she really trust to make it through alive? And Michael A. Stackpole brings us a tale of frontiers both old and new, with America taking its first steps into leviathan technology, and what that will mean for the Wild West…
Join these authors and others as they tell the stories of these daring airmen and officers in their quest to rule both land and the skies!
