Leo Bottary is the founder and managing partner of Peernovation, LLC. Leo is a sought-after thought leader on Peer Advantage and Peernovation, emerging disciplines dedicated to strategically engaging peers to achieve personal and organizational excellence. An award-winning author, keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, he also serves as an instructor for Rutgers University and an Opinion Columnist for CEOWORLD Magazine. Leo’s first book, The Power of Peers (2016), coauthored with former Vistage CEO Leon Shapiro, explores how and why formal peer groups for CEOs and business leaders are so effective. What Anyone Can Do (2018), examined the importance of enlisting and engaging the complete circle of the people who surround us in both formal and informal settings. The first edition of Peernovation (2020) built a bridge between what the highest-performing CEO Forums do so well and how to apply their proven practices to create outstanding organizational teams. Before teaching at Rutgers, Leo was an adjunct professor for Seton Hall University’s MASCL program, where he led online learning teams and on-campus residencies. In April 2015, he was named adjunct teacher of the year for the College of Communication and the Arts.
