About the author
Lana Button is an early childhood educator and the author of over twenty books for children. Her stories are sparked by her love of early childhood education, and her desire to connect with children’s feelings, curiosity and play. Lana’s books have been shortlisted for the Blue Spruce Award, Shining Willow Award, IODE Jean Throop Book Award and the Hamilton Literary Award, and they have received the Crystal Kite Award and been selected as Junior Library Guild Gold Standard titles. Her funny early chapter book series, Brianna Banana, has been commended by Bank Street College of Education, Kirkus and the New York Public Library. When not writing new stories, Lana spends her time traveling to schools and festivals to share her passion for social-emotional literacy. Lana and her husband live in southern Ontario.
