A long time family feud forced young friends Jaxon and Charlotte to part friendship. Joining together again, they find purpose and love even though her gruff, unforgiving father will not like it and belittle her unceasingly. A pleasing story of a second chance at friendship and bigger chance at love. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This story starts out with Jaxon and he's working back on his family ranch. He is a rodeo bull rider and he's aging and doesn't know how much longer he can do the bull ride tour. He meets up with up Char, a girl he once loved in his younger years. Charlotte has a son now and works at post office in next town over. The townsfolk do not like her nor her family.
