I enjoyed how Lillie found ways to struggle through her life after being blind-sided by her now-ex-husband. She had wonderful support from friends and family. Karma kept her floating in her ex's world, but she found happiness. She was stronger than she thought, though her revenge mode lasted a bit longer than I like, but some of the pranks were quite hilarious. I was given an ARC of this story, and this is my unsolicited review.

I really enjoyed this sweet story of a middle aged woman reinventing her life. Lillie had a lot thrown at her and really came out on top. You can't help but root for her. I also loved all of the stunts she pulled on Brad and Melissa! All I can say is I would never want to be on Kristan Higgins bad side! ;) Overall this was fun, sweet story with a sassy heroine that I just adored.

In Out of the Clear Blue Sky is highly relatable, humorous, and quite emotional. Lillie, whose husband leaves her to seek his “joy” with a younger, beautiful, wealthy widow, just as their only son leaves for college. Lillie is quite logical as she plots a little bit of revenge, and to say her stunts are hilarious is putting it mildly. One can't help but support Lillie as she is so shockingly wronged. She is a nurse midwife much beloved in their community and deserves all the support she can get
