Falling For Him: A Friends to Lovers Sports Romance

I thought Denise and Tristan were the perfect match until they broke up. He was the typical jock and I was supposed to be called as a geek for my academic success. Today he used his fame and talents in his role as director of personnel to scout the best players for the Las Angeles Centaurs, a very, very prestigious team. As for me, I become a teacher. I’m a high school English teacher. Everything was perfect until I got involved with a married man. When Tristan knew that his wife called me as a homewrecker and destroyed my academic image, he nearly beat him up. We could be lovers but there is one problem. I do not see him more than as a best friend. Tristan: I did not listen to Zoe when she said not to visit her ex Brian. Until I saw a guy who was fit enough to have my girl, l I would continue to take care of her. I was thirty-six now, not that high school kid anymore that desperately needed her, and she’d never needed me. No matter how old I got or how much time passed, I needed her, and because of that we’d lived together for the last fifteen years. Things have changed because of: 1. Tristan always postponed his date with Beth who is a Victoria’s Secret Angel making Zoe who is a geek a total loser. 2. They went out one time. 3. A strip of paper from their friendship box which says “We should have sex.” There is nothing to comment on besides the fact that the flow of the story is clearly paced and the author used a friendly tone. It could have turned out as an erotica story but the author chose to focus on the sensation instead of highlighting every single touch of both characters. Obviously, I do not read much of these kinds of stories but I totally enjoyed this one.

I read this stand alone story in one sitting, as I couldn't put it down. The editing is done very well and the author has a writing style that kept me engaged and had an easiness about it to read. There was great tension building, just the right amount of quality steamy scenes to enhance the story, great character development and had thoughtful balance with descriptive details in setting the scenes. I saw the authors sense of humor peep out a couple of times and feel they would be rewarded in incorporating much more of this in future projects.

I am so so happy with this book! It has come to be one of my favorites now! Keep up the excellent writing!
