Kenneth Mozee is a professional photographer and photography educator based in Portland, Oregon, with over fifteen years of experience teaching beginners to master their cameras. After earning a degree in Visual Communications from the University of Oregon, he spent a decade working as a commercial photographer, shooting everything from corporate portraits to product campaigns before discovering his true passion: helping newcomers fall in love with photography.
His teaching philosophy is simple — technical jargon and intimidating gear talk shouldn't stand between anyone and the joy of making great photographs. He has taught workshops at community colleges, camera stores, and online platforms, reaching thousands of students who started with no photography experience and went on to create work they're genuinely proud of.
Kenneth's own photography has been published in *Outdoor Photographer* magazine, *The Oregonian*, and several regional travel guides. He currently lives with his wife and two children, where he serves as the unofficial family documentarian and continues to learn something new about photography every single day. *Digital Photography for Absolute Beginners* is his first book.
