About this ebook

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER!

Gilmore Girls fans! Pour yourselves a hot cup of tea and get ready to fall in love with this cozy YA romance that will have you dreaming of autumn all year long.

Fall is a big deal in Briar Glen, a quaint and charming village in New England. That’s when tourists from all over the country descend upon this picturesque town to see the babbling brooks and colorful leaves while sipping hot chocolate or pumpkin spice lattes.

But sixteen-year-old Lucy Kane hates the uber-popular PSL. She finds it overrated -- especially when you consider the fact that there isn’t even pumpkin in it! -- which is bad because she works at Cup o’ Jo, the local coffee shop her mom owns. Business at Cup o' Jo hasn't been great in the off-season, but that's okay because it always picks up during the fall ...

Until Java Junction, a multinational coffee chain, opens across the street and makes things harder for the small shop. And to make matters worse, it turns out Jack Harper, the new kid in school and Lucy's secret crush, is the son of the owner. Suddenly, fall doesnt seem like it'll be all it's cracked up to be. Will Lucy find a way to save her mom's coffee shop?

“Delightfully autumnal,” is the picture perfect description for this YA book. It was a fun first read of the Autumn season. I will say I find it interesting that the author wrote this story while she was going through a medical crisis, and I found myself starting it while sitting in the ER at 1 AM with my husband. She found it a pleasant distraction to write the story, I found it a pleasant distraction to read it. I will also say that I have never really been a PSL person myself, even if it is an autumnal drink, but now I find myself wanting one from Cup 'o Jo! I'll gladly try a homemade delight versus the crazy chemical-laden PSLs at chain coffee shops. One of my favorite parts to the story is how it ends; with so much possibility! I want to know more about Jo's story and background, would love to read about the choices Lucy continues to make, and see more of her friendships with Amber and Evie. Here's wishing for a sequel in time for next Autumn!

first of all the art on this cover gorgeous and the contents of this book is even better Lucy and jack are rivals at eye but lovers at heart almost every scene they have together is really good and sweet and swoon worthy the fact that Jack needs Lucy's help making the drink his shop is known for just sets up soo many possibilities and if you ask me this book chose the right one I read "mint to be" before this so I knew some things about cup o'jo and after reading this I felt like I needed more
