Escaped: Shadows Landing: The Townsends #5

Forrest Townsend has engineered a revolutionary water filtration system that could solve global water shortages for the most rural populations. To test it, he heads into the heart of the Amazon Rainforest to help a remote tribe. He expected the usual dangers of the jungle, but he never expected bullets.

Jordana Alves came to the Amazon searching for more samples of a rare vine to make life-saving medicine. Instead, she’s kidnapped by a criminal group using their rainforest for their own illegal gains. The daughter of the politician in charge of saving the Amazon, Jordana is the perfect pawn. Until she escapes straight into Forrest’s arms.

One moment Forrest was celebrating the success of his new system. The next a shoeless woman runs into him with gunfire close behind. Now Jordana and Forrest have to dodge deadly wildlife, angry criminals, and their growing attraction to each other. But the danger is far from over, even when Forrest and Jordana make it to the small town of Shadows Landing. Because some threats don’t stay in the Amazon and sometimes things aren’t what they seem.
