About this ebook
A Scottish special forces veteran investigates an old friend's murder as a favour to his grieving widow—but he may go to his own grave without any answers . . .
When Adam Black attends the funeral of an old friend, Desmond Gallagher—a human rights lawyer shot dead while jogging—the widow asks for his help, and he can't say no. She confides that her husband had been threatened by a group calling itself the Remus Syndicate, and Black is soon plunged into a complex and shadowy mystery involving money laundering, organized crime, and human trafficking. But every new discovery seems to lead to a dead end. Along the way, Black finds mortal threats, carnage, and plenty of secrets—but will the truth about Desmond Gallagher's demise remain forever unknown?
The latest in the action-packed series featuring the ex-SAS agent, Finale can also be read as a thrilling standalone.

I admit to panicking when I spotted the title of this latest novel in series - surely it didn't mean the end? I was very relieved to find out that it was just the title - not the actual finale! From the very first I have loved this series; it's not just that I recognise the locations - it's the quality of the writing and the unpredictability of the story. A stunning addition to this terrific series, and an easy five sparkling stars from me!
