What can I say? Karen Kingsbury's books have changed my life! Longing was especially touching. While I am team Cody all the way I can understand Bailey choosing Brandon at this point. She is a girl like any other longing to be loved and fought for. Brandon does that. Cody has yet to "show" her how much he loves her. As my parents always said "actions speak louder than words." I married my highschool sweetheart in a lot of ways he is like Brandon. He has always been there, my rock. A couple of years ago we had some relationship issues that we have yet to recover from. I find myself longing for the way we were. I place where there is no doubt or hurt. I kept asking myself how, how do I get us back to where we were? How do I draw him close to me again? I miss him so much even though he is in the same room. Through this book I found that longing for something doesnt make it happen. I need to lay it down at the True Author's feet! I also am no longer longing for the past but rather for the future. I am praying for a stronger and closer relationship because of the struggles we have overcome. Thank you Karen for writing from your heart with God's will in mind for these characters. You will never know how much your books have changed me.

This was the first book I read by Ms Kingsbury and i totally loved it .It changed the way i thought about being christian and taught me to involve God in all that i do.
