I liked the world building, the shifting narrative worked well, and the concept for the horror had a very event horizon feel I liked. That being said I felt like the book ended very abruptly once the horror aspect started kicking in.

I've been on a space-horror kick lately and this one at first glance seemed to fit the bill. It ended up being so much more than that. The characters and concepts are intense and captivating. It was a very surprising, very good read.
