About this ebook

Jora Lanseri has always been different.

While others live only in the present, she can step into the Mindstream and witness moments from any person's past. It is a gift that inspires awe, suspicion, and fear in equal measure—and one that has left her feeling like an outsider her entire life.

When her training as a Truth Sayer draws her into the mystery of the ancient Spirit Stones, Jora discovers that the greatest danger isn't what she can see.

Hidden agendas, impossible secrets, and a kingdom exhausted by generations of war begin closing around her. Every choice threatens someone she loves, and every answer carries consequences she never imagined.

To protect the people she holds dear, Jora must uncover a truth powerful enough to reshape the future...if it doesn't destroy her first.

This book was full of surprises. I thought it was going to flow predictably with a story of two long lost lovers finding comfort in someone else, but that is not what happened. There were times of laughter, deep sadness and complete shock. This book makes me want to play the flute again and befriend some dolphins!

I had my doubts about this book as it was free. I've read other free books that have been okay in plot, but editing and proofreading errors made me not but the author's books in the series. This book was professionally written with proper editing and proof reading. I did find I was drawn into the story more than I was expecting. I haven't purchased the next book yet, but I will probably do so to see how the story progresses.
