Justine Mosby is a pediatric nutrition educator and family feeding specialist with more than fifteen years of experience helping families turn mealtime conflict into calm, connected routines. She holds a master's degree in human nutrition and has worked as a clinical dietitian in pediatric primary care, where her days were spent alongside children who lived on four foods and parents at the end of their rope.
Her approach is grounded in the division of responsibility, sensory science, and developmental psychology—and in the firm belief that the parent's calm is the most powerful food-related tool in any kitchen. She has trained feeding teams, led workshops for childcare providers, and contributed to parenting programs on mealtime structure and childhood nutrition.
She is also a parent of three children, one of whom spent years eating roughly nine foods while the household held its breath at dinner. That child—now a teenager with a healthy, curious appetite—taught her more than any textbook about what patience really looks like.
*Ending Picky Eating Without Mealtime Battles* grew out of the plan she developed in her practice and refined in her own kitchen. She writes and teaches about feeding with gentleness, structure, and a long view of childhood, and she believes no family should have to face dinner as a daily fight. Justine lives in the Midwest with her husband, three children, and a dog who is, happily, not at all picky.
