The Alien Pet Expedition

By Jr Hadley

On their home planet, cats and dogs are the masters of society, walking on two legs, running complex industries, and keeping humans as beloved, simple-minded pets. But when Zax—a sophisticated feline officer—and Pip—a brilliant canine engineer—crash-land their scout ship in a quiet Earth suburb, their mission to blend in as "domesticated animals" becomes the greatest challenge of their careers.

Forced to walk on four legs and navigate a primitive world they find utterly baffling, Zax and Pip realize they need an ally. They strike an unlikely pact with Leo, a young boy who discovers their secret. In exchange for food, shelter, and cover, Zax and Pip agree to use their superior alien intellect to help Leo dominate his school's math and science curriculum—and teach him exactly how to outsmart his neighborhood bully, Frank Lynn Mathis.

But between dodging a relentless, conspiracy-obsessed "Alien Hunter" named Sterling and dealing with the hilarious incompetence of their own home planet’s rescue logistics, Zax and Pip quickly find that Earth is far more complicated—and dangerous—than they ever imagined.

Can a cat and dog maintain their cover, handle a bully, and outrun a hunter before the final rescue craft arrives? And in a world where they are supposed to be "just pets," will they realize that their bond with Leo has become the most important mission of all?
