About this ebook

In this groundbreaking urban fantasy series from New York Times bestseller Joseph Nassise, a Boston professor turned supernatural detective makes a desperate bargain with dark forces, revealing the world of demons, ghosts, and black magic he'll need to survive to rescue the daughter who vanished into its depths years before.

"Gritty, grim, yet surprisingly personal and poetic, Eyes to See is like nothing else in its field. Make time for this one." —Seanan McGuire, New York Times bestselling author of the October Daye and Incryptid series

"Brings urban fantasy to a new level. Heartbreaking, deeply insightful, powerful, and genuinely thrilling. Joe Nassise has just raised the bar for the whole genre." —Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author of the Joe Ledger series

"I gave up my eyes to see more clearly."

Jeremiah Hunt's life shattered when his daughter Elizabeth disappeared without a trace. His obsessive search cost him his wife, his job as a Harvard professor, and his reputation. Desperate and out of options, he makes a Faustian bargain with the empty-eyed and enigmatic Preacher—trading his sight for the ability to see what others cannot: ghosts, demons, and the supernatural creatures that walk unseen through the streets of Boston.

Now a ghost hunter and exorcist for hire, Hunt uses his gift to banish malevolent spirits that torment the living while following every lead that might reveal Elizabeth's fate. With the help of his ghostly companions—Whisper and Scream—he navigates the dangerous world of black magic and supernatural murder that exists in the shadows of the everyday world.

But when a particularly cunning spirit leads him into a trap, Hunt finds himself accused of a series of brutal ritualistic murders. Hunted by both the living and the dead, he uncovers a horrifying truth: an ancient sorcerer has been using Elizabeth as a pawn in a deadly game that spans centuries.

Now Hunt must fight to clear his name and save his daughter's life before the sorcerer completes a dark ritual that will set an unspeakable evil free. In a race against time through Boston's darkest supernatural underworld, a father's love may be the only weapon powerful enough to defeat an enemy who has been killing for a thousand years.

Perfect for fans of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, Simon R. Green's Nightside series, and Craig Schaefer's Daniel Faust novels.

A quick and easy read full of ghosts and other supernstural fun. Hunt is an interesting character, and I'm excited to see him grow in future books.

i just read this in two days, it would've been one but alas other things to do. I loved it!! The imagery, the characters. The chacters have room for improvement, which I love. i like that the female character is strong, but not a crazed feminist and acting like she has something to prove. The story itself is rich, I would like to see more telling about the other creatures. I'd like to know more, for instance what was the magistrate; Mathews? More details about Dimitri. just an all around excellent read and i cant wait for more🥰

This book is terrific from start to finish. But, something is wrong with the link. One third of the pages have one letter of one word continuing for 10 or more pages. It's extremely hard to read. But, I kept on going because this book is exceptional.
