About this ebook

Ten years ago, a desperate, brilliant coder took a deal from a stranger who promised him everything Silicon Valley refused to give him: belief. Now the bill has come due, and the fine print Tom never saw has a much older name than "contract."

When Tom challenges the deal, Heaven sends an angel with a losing record to defend him, and Hell sends the man who wrote the playbook on predatory patience to collect. What follows isn't a simple morality play — it's a trial built on buried evidence, a decade-long con nine years in the making, and a defendant whose own genius keeps getting used as the weapon against him.
