About this ebook

Every Christian's goal is to become more and more like Christ. But how can you actually do that? And what does it mean for your everyday life?

In this never-before-published collection of sermons, beloved pastor and author John Stott shares wisdom gleaned from years spent walking with Jesus, casting a compelling vision for becoming more like Christ in today's world.

Rooted in Scripture and shaped by pastoral wisdom, More Like Jesus calls believers to orient their lives, personally and communally, toward obedience and Christlikeness. Stott journeys through seven timeless themes that Christ exemplified in the New Testament to equip readers to walk in faithful submission to God.

In More Like Jesus, you'll find:

  • Fresh content from John Stott, available in print for the first time
  • An exploration into Christ's humanity and what it means to be human ourselves
  • Chapters on submission to God, humility, generosity, compassion, servant leadership, suffering, and the role of the Holy Spirit in becoming like Christ
  • A seven-session study guide ideal for personal use or small group discussion

Practical and inspiring, this book meets Christians where they are and invites them deeper into the life Christ modeled. Whether you are new to the faith or have followed Christ for decades, More Like Jesus offers the wisdom and encouragement to keep growing. John Stott's clear, warm teaching makes this an essential resource for anyone serious about Christian discipleship.
