John Saul never disappoints. I don't think its fair to make any type of comparison between what John Saul did here versus what Stephen King did with The Green Mile. They are 2 very different authors with their own unique perspectives. The Blackstone Chronicles revolves around a small town with lots of deep dark secrets. Once you pick this book up, its hard to put down, and once you think you've found a stopping point, think again...From page 1, The Blackstone Chronicles will keep you wanting more.

Saul said he was inspired by Stephen King's The Green Mile. Do not expect a story of that caliber. Lame at best and not worth your ten bucks.
