A stay in the hospital can be full of pain, but it can also be full of purpose. In perfectly pithy form, Piper provides the reader with ten foundational beliefs he carried into his own hospital bed, as well as ten practical lessons he learned from that experience. This little book served as a source of steady encouragement to me throughout my newborn son's 11-day NICU stay. I would commend it to anyone who's currently lying in a hospital bed or to those sitting anxiously at the bedside of a sick loved one.
