About this ebook

Jack lives on the edge of water because movement once felt safer than staying. Mara returns to a coastal town she thought she had already survived, carrying grief that no longer asks permission to exist. When their lives intersect, nothing dramatic announces itself… no promises, no rescue, no urgent declarations… only the slow recognition of another person who knows how to remain.

Where We Landed is a restrained, emotionally precise novel about what happens after loss, when love arrives not as escape, but as companionship. Set against a coastal town that remembers without demanding explanation, the story follows two people learning that belonging is not something you earn through bravery, but something you allow through presence.

This is a novel about choosing to stay, about the quiet courage of ordinary days, and about discovering that arrival is not marked by certainty, but by the decision to stop leaving.
