Past friends reconnect at the hospital where they work in their hometown in Alaska. She was married to his best friend and he loved her from afar. Now, with a chance to make fake dating real, he hopes with all his might to win her at last. Meanwhile, the snake who was trying to gain mineral access to the land is back and up to his old tricks and intimidation. A very thoughtful and captivating novel all around. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opi

Paging Dr. Breakup by Jillian David. Book two in The Yukon Valley, Alaska series. I enjoyed reading more about the characters from the first book in the series and a few new ones. This story might have been a top rated book for me but it still pulled me in and was intriguing that I wanted to keep reading to see how it ended. I look forward to reading more books in this series and more by author.

A wonderful hospital romance. Deirdre and Calvin were old friends who secretly had feelings for each other. After being away from home for years, Calvin is finally back in Yukon Valley and working at the same hospital as Deirdre. To get the town matchmakers off their backs, they decide to fake date. But it turns into much more pretty quick. I enjoyed seeing Deirdre and Calvin take their relationship to the next level.
