THE TEEN CBT RESET

A Premium 90-Minute Audio Course for Anxiety, Overthinking, Low Mood and Confidence

For teenagers who feel overwhelmed.

And for parents who want to help but don’t know how.

If you’re a teen:

You might overthink everything.

Replay conversations.

Feel anxious before school.

Struggle to switch your brain off at night.

Lose confidence for reasons you can’t even explain.

And if you’re a parent:

You’ve probably noticed the mood shifts.

The frustration.

The self-doubt.

The “I’m fine” when they clearly aren’t.

The Teen CBT Reset is a structured, science-backed 90-minute audio course designed specifically for adolescent brains. It explains anxiety, low mood and confidence struggles in a way that feels relatable — not clinical, not preachy, and not full of empty positivity.

Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles adapted for teenagers, this course teaches:

How anxiety actually works in the teenage brain

Why overthinking feels impossible to stop

How to break negative thought loops

Practical mood reset tools

Grounding strategies for school and exams

Real-world confidence building (that doesn’t feel fake)

A simple framework teens can use again and again

For teens, it feels empowering.

For parents, it feels reassuring.

This course does not replace therapy — but it gives young people language, structure and tools they can start using immediately.

Because teenagers don’t need fixing.

They need understanding.

And they need skills.

Calm is trainable.

Confidence is buildable.

And a reset is possible.

About the author

About the Author

Jennifer McKay is a qualified teacher and experienced SENCO who has spent years supporting young people navigating anxiety, low confidence and emotional overwhelm within the school environment. Working closely with teenagers on a daily basis, she has seen firsthand how common overthinking, self-doubt and comparison have become in today’s socially intense world.

Alongside her professional experience in education and inclusion, Jennifer has personally used Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to manage anxiety and build resilience in her own life. The practical, evidence-based nature of CBT — and the way small shifts can create meaningful change — inspired her to adapt these strategies specifically for teenagers.

Her work focuses on translating psychology into language that feels real, accessible and immediately usable for young people, while remaining grounded in research and educational practice.

The Teen CBT Reset combines classroom insight, lived experience and structured CBT tools to help teenagers understand their minds — and guide them with confidence.
